Day 01: Full day tour to Caral

Early morning our driver and guide will pick You up from your hotel and drive for 172 kms aproximaletly to Caral or Caral-Supe, was a large settlement in the Supe Valley,Caral is the most ancient city of the American Continent (Americas), and a well-studied site of the Caral or Norte Chico Civilization Caral was inhabited between roughly 2600 BCE and 2000 BCE enclosing an area of more than 60 hectares.Caral was described by its excavators as the oldest urban center in the Americas, a claim that was later challenged as other ancient sites were found nearby. Accommodating more than 3,000 inhabitants, it is the best studied and one of the largest Norte Chico sites known. Caral a spectacular archaeological site made up by big pyramids that were built about 4500 years ago. We invite you to explore this magnificent city which age is only comparable to the earliest civilizations that flourished on our planet, such as; Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China and Mesoamerican. On our tour we will be able to see an array of buildings in which stand out huge truncated pyramids, circular sunken plazas, amphitheaters, a mysterious monolith, places where large groups of people used to congregate and other minor constructions built around the city.
