Inka Trail 02 days / 01 night

The Inca Trail to Machupicchu (Machu Picchu) is rated among the best trekking trips in the world..

Because of the exquisite natural beauty and arquaeological importance of the many sites leading up to Machu Picchu. We encounter valleys that contain wildlife endemic to high deserts or the tropics, between stretches of puna and cloud forest. We encounter mysterious archaeological sites half covered by jungle overgrowth, that look like you are discovering them for the first time. Finally we arrive at the lost city of the Incas, Machupicchu. Our journey is conducted by experienced guides who will make your trip most pleasant and safe. All of our luggage will be carried by native ''quechua'' porters. The meals are delicious and prepared by experts in international cuisine.

Day 1  Cusco - Wiñayhuayna (Km. 104) At 05:40 hrs we pick up our passengers to take them to San Pedro, the central railway station, and ride the train for 104 kms. Then we start hiking to Wiñayhuayna where we will camp overnight. Wiñayhuayna is an important archeological site.(  L+ D )   Day 2  Wiñayhuayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco We leave Wiñayhuayna and pass through the Intipuncu, gate of the sun. We arrive in Machu Picchu, the lost City of the Incas. An optional hike for the more energetic persons in the group would be to ascend Huaynapicchu, the pyramid-shaped peak that overlooks Machupicchu. We will visit Aguas Calientes and enjoy a relaxing bath at the local hot springs. In the afternoon we train back to Cusco. (B).
